The Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Logistics Solution Sales & Design role develops tailored logistics solutions for customers in Gurgaon, with a focus on warehousing, transportation, and in-house logistics services. The position combines customer engagement, solution design, commercial proposal development, bid management, and project implementation to support new business growth.
Responsibilities
Understand customer requirements through discussions, site visits, requests for quotations, requests for proposals, and requests for information
Develop customised logistics solutions, including warehouse layouts, manpower calculations based on productivity analysis and planning, process flows, and cost models
Prepare and present detailed profit and loss calculations and techno-commercial proposals covering pricing, service-level agreements, and operational models
Onboard new customers and support the development of new business
Work closely with sales, operations, transport, and IT teams to develop suitable customer solutions
Build accurate cost models that balance profitability and market competitiveness
Manage requests for quotations, requests for proposals, and requests for information from analysis and solution development through to submission and negotiation
Coordinate project implementation, handover, and go-live activities according to agreed timelines
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and changing customer needs
Requirements
Experience in logistics solution design, solution sales, bid management, or a related area
Knowledge of warehousing, transportation, and in-house logistics operations
Ability to develop warehouse layouts, productivity-based manpower plans, process flows, cost models, and techno-commercial proposals
Strong customer engagement, commercial analysis, negotiation, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills
