The Deputy Manager - Mechanical Maintenance role leads maintenance activities to support efficient manufacturing operations in Bangalore. This position requires expertise in equipment troubleshooting and repairs, robotics, PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and proactive maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
Manage mechanical maintenance team activities to support smooth manufacturing operations
Handle breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for equipment and systems
Support maintenance activities involving robotics, bending machines, sensors, interlocks, hydraulics, pneumatics, and PLC-related systems
Monitor and improve maintenance performance through MTTR, MTBF, proactive maintenance, and TPM practices
Support ISO audits, 5S activities, and implementation of safety policies
Use basic AutoCAD knowledge to support maintenance-related activities where required
Requirements
Experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, robotics, PLC, hydraulics, and pneumatics systems
Experience with breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and TPM
Understanding of sensors, interlocks, bending machines, MTTR, and MTBF
Knowledge of ISO audits, 5S practices, and safety policies
Basic AutoCAD knowledge
Ability to manage mechanical maintenance team activities
