The Embedded Systems/IT Solutions Software Engineer role leads the end-to-end development of software, from initial concept through to production deployment. Based on-site, the position covers software development, code review, testing, debugging, and technical documentation. The specific assignment will be determined based on the successful candidate’s programming expertise.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end development of embedded software or IT solutions, from initial concept through to production deployment
Develop software using the programming language relevant to the assigned project
Conduct code reviews to maintain software quality and consistency
Perform rigorous testing and debugging to optimise system performance and reliability
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation covering software architecture, functionality, and interface specifications
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
More than 10 years of experience implementing the complete embedded software development process
Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, C, C++, or C#
Japanese proficiency at JLPT N3 level or above
English-language proficiency
Able to work on-site in Japan or India
Candidates with less experience may be considered for a junior-level position.
