The Human Resources (HR) Executive role focuses primarily on end-to-end recruitment and employee training and development. Based in Chennai, the position plays a key part in supporting workforce planning, recruitment activities, employee induction, and skills development across the organisation.

Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for technical, non-technical, and managerial positions

  • Coordinate with department heads to understand workforce requirements and prepare recruitment plans

  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, employee referrals, recruitment agencies, campus hiring, and social media

  • Screen CVs and conduct initial HR interviews

  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and Japanese-speaking stakeholders

  • Prepare interview feedback and recruitment status reports

  • Maintain recruitment trackers and candidate databases

  • Organise job fairs, walk-in recruitment drives, and campus recruitment programmes

  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for future recruitment requirements

  • Execute bulk recruitment activities to support the greenfield project timeline

  • Conduct reference and background checks

  • Prepare offer letters and negotiate salaries within approved budgets

  • Ensure a smooth candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Training & Development

  • Coordinate employee induction and orientation programmes

  • Identify training needs in consultation with department heads

  • Organise internal and external training programmes

  • Maintain training calendars, attendance records, and related documentation

  • Evaluate training effectiveness and prepare training reports

  • Support employee skills development and compliance training initiatives

Requirements

  • Experience supporting end-to-end recruitment across technical, non-technical, or managerial positions

  • Experience coordinating employee induction, orientation, or training and development activities

  • Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to work with department heads, hiring managers, candidates, and other stakeholders

  • Ability to maintain recruitment and training records and prepare status, feedback, and training reports
