The Maintenance Supervisor role plays an important part in supporting stable production operations within a manufacturing environment. Based in Andhra Pradesh, this onsite role will oversee machinery installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, and equipment safety to help minimise downtime and maintain production quality.
Responsibilities
Oversee the installation, testing, documentation, and formal handover of production machinery and related electrical or electronic equipment
Prepare, revise, and implement monthly preventive maintenance plans in coordination with the Production team
Ensure preventive maintenance activities are completed as scheduled, including proper machine handover and return with Production
Maintain proper electrical connections, uninterrupted power flow, and safety standards for machinery, electrical systems, and electronic equipment
Minimise machine breakdowns and production downtime through quick repairs, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and proper spare parts availability
Set machine parameters and applicators according to production requirements while ensuring output meets Quality Control standards
Maintain maintenance, operational, breakdown, and ISO-related documentation, and represent the Maintenance department during audits
Provide training to production staff on machine handling and equipment operation
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
At least 1 to 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems
Understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
