The Moulding Maintenance Executive role is responsible for maintaining injection moulding machines and supporting equipment to minimise downtime and sustain efficient manufacturing operations. The position combines preventive and breakdown maintenance, technical fault diagnosis, equipment calibration, and continuous improvement activities.
Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on injection moulding machines
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in moulding machines
Carry out breakdown maintenance promptly to minimise machine downtime
Maintain and service auxiliary equipment, including mould temperature controllers, chillers, dryers, and robots
Ensure machine alignment, platen parallelism, and clamping force settings remain within established standards
Calibrate and inspect servo motors, heaters, sensors, and hydraulic valves
Maintain accurate maintenance checklists, logbooks, and downtime records
Participate in continuous improvement, Kaizen, TPM, 5S, and energy-saving activities
Assist with the installation and commissioning of new moulding machines
Requirements
Diploma qualification
4 to 8 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance for injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment
Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in moulding equipment
