Their products are often used in power generation plants and include components such as generators, turbines, motors, and inverters to list a few.
Job Overview-Responsible for managing international shipment operations (air/sea/road), coordinating with clients, carriers, customs authorities, and internal teams to ensure smooth import and export processes while complying with all regulatory requirements.
Job Responsibilities-
1. Shipment Coordination
Handle end-to-end import and export shipments (FCL, LCL, air freight)
Book cargo space with shipping lines and airlines
Coordinate with transporters for pickup and delivery
Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers
2. Documentation
Prepare and verify shipping documents:
Bill of Lading (BL)
Air Waybill (AWB)
Commercial Invoice
Packing List
Certificate of Origin
Ensure accuracy and
compliance with international trade regulations
3. Customs Clearance
Coordinate with customs brokers for clearance procedures
Ensure compliance with import/export laws and regulations
Handle duty calculations, tariffs, and HS code classification
4. Customer & Vendor Coordination
Communicate with clients regarding shipment status, delays, and documentation
Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, CHA (Custom House Agents), and overseas agents
Resolve operational issues and escalations
5. Costing & Billing
Prepare job costing and quotations
Verify vendor invoices and raise customer invoices
Ensure profitability and cost control for each shipment
6. Compliance & Record Keeping
Maintain shipment records and documentation
Ensure adherence to company SOPs and international logistics standards
Stay updated on changes in trade regulations
Job Requirements-
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field.
Experience
1–5 years in freight forwarding or logistics operations.
Skills
Knowledge of import/export procedures and Incoterms.
Familiarity with customs regulations and documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Excel and logistics software.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
