The Service Engineer role focuses on hands-on servicing, maintenance, and technical support for advanced cryocooler systems in an onsite, customer-facing environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical ability, practical servicing experience, and the communication skills needed to coordinate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and service cryogenic outdoor units, cryocooler systems, compressors, piping, and cooling systems
Troubleshoot technical issues and carry out routine checks, repairs, inspections, and testing to support reliable equipment performance
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure cryogenic and cooling systems operate effectively
Provide onsite customer support and coordinate with internal teams to resolve technical matters
Prepare service reports and technical documentation in English
Support senior engineers with localisation and technical improvement initiatives
Requirements
3 to 4 years of experience in equipment servicing or maintenance, preferably in high-pressure gas or cooling systems
Basic understanding of compressors and refrigeration systems
Hands-on experience in routine checks, inspections, and repairs
Proficiency in English for reporting, documentation, and coordination
Ability to work with diligence, integrity, and a team-oriented approach
Skills in welding and brazing are preferred
Experience in cryogenic or precision cooling equipment maintenance is preferred
Exposure to manufacturing environments is preferred
