The Assistant Manager - Accounts role plays a key part in financial reporting, working capital management, cost control, compliance, and management reporting. Responsibilities
Manage profit and loss reporting and financial reporting
Manage accounts receivable, collections, and days sales outstanding
Oversee accounts payable and vendor management
Conduct cost control and profitability analysis
Manage budgeting and forecasting activities
Manage billing processes and revenue leakage controls
Maintain financial controls and support compliance and audit activities
Prepare management information systems reports, dashboards, and key performance indicator analyses
Manage statutory compliance requirements, including Tax Deducted at Source and Goods and Services Tax
Prepare and submit group reporting packages
Requirements
Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and profitability analysis
Experience in accounts receivable, collections, accounts payable, and vendor management
Understanding of financial controls, compliance, and audit processes
Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements, including Tax Deducted at Source and Goods and Services Tax
Ability to prepare management reports, dashboards, key performance indicator analyses, and group reporting packages
Strong analytical skills with attention to accuracy and financial control
