Minimum Educational Qualifications to perform this job
Chartered Accountant with 3 - 6 years of post-qualification experience ( preferable from EPC - construction company)

Knowledge Required
  1. All kinds of Accounts Payables - Very strong knowledge
  2. All kinds of Accounts Receivable
  3. Project Accounting - Basic Knowledge
  4. Payroll - Calculation & Preparation
  5. Taxation (Direct & Indirect) - Working  Knowledge
  6. Finalization of Accounts - Supporting  Knowledge

Skills / Competencies
Corporate accounting Taxation
Decent Communication skill in English (Verbal & Written) Collaborating skills with other Department

Relevant Experience (Functions, roles, duration)
Following experiences in Finance / Accounts Department -
  1. Accounts Payable Role
  2. Project Accounting supporting Role
  3. Supporting Role in Finalization of Accounts

Reference Industry (Similar roles)
Preferred from EPC Companies.
May be considered from Service Industry Not from Manufacturing industry.

Payables Management
  • Miscellaneous invoice payments within due date, updation of payment tracker, informing payment details to stakeholders.
  • Salary computation
  • TDS and Tax Payments
  • Proper Accounting treatment and Cost Allocation

Project Accounting
  • Revenue recognition
  • Project Accounting Principles & Accounting Standards
  • Proper recognition of cost

  1. Direct Taxes - (a) TDS (b) Form-16 (c) Generating Form-15CA/ CB
  2. International Taxation - Basic Knowledge( TP, Expat Taxation)
  3. Indirect Taxes - GST Codes/ Rates/ Input Credit Mechanism (Primarily with respect to Project Accounting)

Finalization of Accounts

Assist in preparation of paper books and facilitating Audit process.
