Qualification-  B.Tech/M.Tech (Food technology) or Chemistry/Science background
Techno-commercial person with 10 years of experience selling ingredients/aroma chemicals in Indian market.
We are searching for someone previously work with distributors so as to help us kick-start our local distribution business in India.

  • Role is to promote our specialty ingredient to food manufacturing company
  • Sales & marketing of Specialty food ingredient to foods & beverages industries, dairies Food processing, Nutraceutical(Vitamin remix) , Health food and Aroma chemical Industries for PAN India &  Indian Subcontinents( B2B sales only) and be responsible for all sales functions, achieving targets, formulating marketing strategies etc.
  • Sales experience of specialty ingredient is better than sales experience of commodity ingredient
  • No problem to travel customers around half of month, territory will be in India, but depending on the company’s decision, India, Sri Lanka, and Middle East will be considered.
  • Graduation in-food technology, biotechnology, and biochemical is preferable. But another major is considered depending on their career.
  • Postgraduate in Marketing will be an added advantage.
  • Managing a network of local distributors, monitoring sales
  • Reporting regularly on your sales activities and results
  • Selling commodity and specialty products
  • Technical marketing and promotion of functional food ingredients
  • All routine activities related to regular sale
  • Visiting the customers
  • Sharing product samples and making follow up
  • Prepare timely report of the visits
  • Getting the orders and following the order till it is dispatched and reached at customer’s end
  • Handling customers complaints and following customers for repeat orders
  • Following Principals for purchase of the product
  • Co- ordinate with logistics and accounts for routine work
  • Follow up the customers for payment.
  • B. Tech/ M. Tech (Food technology) or Chemistry /Science background having min 5 years of Technical experience / Sales of Ingredient in FMCG Sector (B2B Sales).
  • Create good network with commercial and developments teams at customer’s end.
  • Able to design competent sales and pricing strategies for new product.
  • Should built good access at the customers end (manufacturing co- s)
  • Should have knowledge of industry leaders and movements in specific segments.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to motivate and influence the team.
  • Sense of ownership and drive: self-starter and problem solver who shows a bias for action, acts promptly to remove "roadblocks" and ensures accountability to get things done in a timely manner.
  • Highly organized, structured, and flexible, able to work well under pressure and deal with multiple / conflicting priorities meeting the deadlines.
  • Fluent English a must-have (both verbal and written communication), other languages a plus.
  • Adherence to Work Culture and Ethics.
  • Sales & marketing of food ingredients, excipients & intermediates to foods & beverages industries, dairies all over India & Other Continents (B2B sales only) and be responsible for all sales functions, achieving targets, formulating marketing strategies etc.
  • Responsible for developing sales in a geographical sector and a particular market - Pan India & Other Continents.
  • Organize and conduct sales prospect
  • Drawing up and negotiating sales proposals up to contract signing
  • Providing an interface between R&D and the customers in specific development projects
  • Answer any commercial or technical request and propose new solutions
  • Managing the after-sales follow-up and monitoring customer satisfaction
