The Electrical/Mechanical Service Engineer role combines machine installation, maintenance, technical drawing, and customer support. This onsite position offers an opportunity to apply practical engineering knowledge while working with specialised machinery and measurement equipment.
Responsibilities
Read and prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD
Perform machine maintenance from a mechanical perspective
Install straightening, balancing, and measurement machines
Use quality control measuring tools such as vernier callipers, height gauges, and bore gauges
Support special-purpose machine assembly
Provide customer service and technical support
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.Tech) and 2–5 years of relevant experience, or a diploma and 3–7 years
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance, machine installation, and assembly
Ability to read and prepare AutoCAD drawings
Familiarity with quality control measuring tools such as vernier callipers, height gauges, and bore gauges
Experience providing customer service and support
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
