The Executive/Senior Executive - Contract Logistics Sales role drives new business development for warehousing and distribution services in Gurgaon. The position combines prospecting, customer acquisition, commercial negotiation, relationship management, and sales planning to build a strong pipeline and support business growth.
Responsibilities
Identify and approach prospective customers through cold calls, emails, and visits
Generate leads for warehousing and distribution services and build a strong sales pipeline
Schedule customer meetings and present the company’s services to prospective customers
Acquire new customers and manage the onboarding process
Coordinate with internal teams on proposal development and service implementation
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
Negotiate pricing and close deals in coordination with management
Support timely invoicing and follow up on outstanding collections
Provide daily and weekly updates on new business enquiries and planned customer visits
Prepare detailed monthly reports covering customers approached, revenue, and sales performance
Develop and present monthly sales forecasts and business development plans
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data
Requirements
Experience in business development, sales, customer acquisition, or a related customer-facing area
Understanding of warehousing, distribution, or contract logistics services
Strong prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to manage sales pipelines, prepare forecasts and performance reports, maintain accurate customer data, and coordinate effectively with internal teams
