The Interpreter & Translator - Japanese Speaker role supports clear communication across production, procurement, management and day-to-day manufacturing operations. The position plays an important part in bridging Japanese and English communication, supporting technical documentation, business coordination and localisation-related initiatives within a global manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Provide Japanese and English interpretation during meetings across production, procurement and management
Facilitate effective communication between Japanese-speaking stakeholders and local teams
Translate technical documents, reports, and internal communications
Support seamless day-to-day operations within the manufacturing environment
Act as a liaison to ensure alignment between management and local staff
Contribute to localisation initiatives and business expansion projects
Requirements
Professional experience in Japanese and English interpretation
Japanese language proficiency at N3 level or above
Exposure to manufacturing, automotive, or technical environments
Experience in technical interpretation within a manufacturing setup is preferred
