The Paint Application Engineer role offers an opportunity to apply extensive painting system and robotics expertise within an industrial automation environment. Responsibilities
Support the start-up of robotic painting systems
Provide technical support relating to painting quality
Use simulation software to support painting system applications
Apply knowledge of painting equipment when evaluating technical requirements
Assess technical situations and determine whether an immediate on-site response is possible
Requirements
Engineering degree
Knowledge of robotics
At least 7 years of experience as a painting system engineer within a coating manufacturer, painting system integrator, or industrial robotics and automation provider
Proven experience in painting system start-up and painting quality support
Experience using simulation software
Good knowledge of painting equipment
Ability to assess technical issues and determine whether they can be addressed on-site
