The Production Team Supervisor role is responsible for supporting safe, smooth, and efficient production operations during assigned shifts. This position plays an important part in maintaining line productivity, ensuring quality standards, coordinating with relevant teams, and driving continuous improvement activities within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Ensure productivity by continuously monitoring safe and smooth batch operations during the shift
Maintain line productivity, address troubleshooting requirements, and support achievement of the production plan
Ensure availability of raw materials, jigs, and boards as per the production plan
Maintain the 4M change board and support effective shift-level production control
Monitor and maintain OEE parameters as per SOP, working closely with line teams to ensure quality
Ensure proper running of lines and equipment as per system requirements to achieve zero defects
Coordinate with maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance of machines
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental norms across production operations
Manage day-to-day line operations, including product quality, manpower handling, line troubleshooting, and line standards as per customer requirements
Drive Kaizen activities to support continuous improvement
Requirements
Diploma or degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a production environment
At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role
Strong team management abilities
Knowledge of production processes, quality control methods, and safety standards
Proficiency in production software and Microsoft Office Suite
