The Quality Control role is suited for a hands-on quality professional with strong shop-floor experience in precision machining or industrial component manufacturing. This position plays an important role in strengthening inspection standards, reducing human error, and ensuring that only conforming products are released for shipment.
Responsibilities
Manage shop-floor Quality Control activities, including Incoming Quality Control or Final and Shipping Quality Control
Maintain Inspector Certification Systems and Skill Matrix records to support consistent inspection standards and reduce human error
Conduct daily process audits and drive improvements in visual and measurement judgement practices
Implement defect containment actions, including non-conforming material isolation, and collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to support zero-defect shipment standards
Requirements
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline
5 to 10 years of hands-on Quality Control experience within the precision machining or industrial component manufacturing industry
Experience in shop-floor quality management, particularly in Incoming Quality Control or Final and Shipping Quality Control
Knowledge of Inspector Certification Systems, Skill Matrix management, process audits, and defect containment
Fluency in English and the local working language used in shop-floor operations
