The Senior Engineer role supports the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and performance of industrial machinery and auxiliary equipment. The position works closely with customers, engineers, and technicians to resolve technical concerns, ensure safe and effective equipment operation, and provide reliable service throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Support the installation and commissioning of industrial machinery and auxiliary equipment, including injection moulding machines, die-casting machines, paint lines, chillers, special-purpose machines, bumper lines, assembly lines, and related systems
Use appropriate strategies and tools to develop effective solutions to customer concerns
Communicate with customers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure services are delivered effectively
Follow up promptly on service requests and provide customer feedback
Monitor equipment and machinery performance and develop preventive maintenance measures
Conduct quality assurance and safety checks on equipment
Deliver demonstrations to educate customers on the safe and effective use of equipment
Provide recommendations regarding new features and product improvements
Monitor inventory and reorder materials when required
Conduct research and attend workshops to remain informed of industry developments
Prepare reports and regularly present findings to managers and supervisors
Requirements
Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
3–5 years of experience handling industrial machinery and auxiliary equipment installation and commissioning projects
Ability to troubleshoot equipment concerns and develop effective technical solutions
Strong communication and coordination skills for working with customers, engineers, and technicians
Knowledge of equipment performance monitoring, preventive maintenance, quality assurance, and safety checks
