The Senior Engineer – Mechanical role provides installation, maintenance, and technical support for robotic automation and manufacturing equipment. The position responds to customer service requirements, supports equipment reliability and performance, and provides practical guidance and training to customers, operators, and maintenance teams.
Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer service calls and equipment breakdowns
Provide training to customers and team members
Support the installation of new robotic automation systems
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimise equipment breakdowns
Conduct routine inspections to ensure that safety and performance standards are met
Provide technical support and guidance to operators and maintenance teams
Maintain service records, reports, and documentation for maintenance activities
Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency in accordance with user manuals
Complete jobs assigned by company managers
Prepare Management Information System reports
Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the company
Requirements
Knowledge of mechanical maintenance and robotic automation systems
Ability to perform preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns
Ability to provide technical support and training to customers and internal teams
Good communication, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills
