The Senior Engineer – Technical is a hands-on technical role focused on supporting manufacturing operations, technical drawing development, metal spinning and forming processes, and welding activities. This position is well suited to an individual with strong manufacturing or production engineering expertise, practical problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and departments.
Responsibilities
Design and prepare technical drawings using AutoCAD
Oversee and optimise metal spinning and forming operations to ensure product quality and production efficiency
Monitor and support welding activities, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards
Coordinate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational targets
Analyse manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain production records, process documentation, and reports, while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
Experience working in the manufacturing industry
Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing interpretation
Strong knowledge of metal spinning and forming processes
Good understanding of welding methods, standards, and quality requirements
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills in English, Kannada, and Hindi
