Position Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager
Supervised by BU Head of Functional Materials
Department Isoprene Group, Functional Materials, BU Functional Materials
Role Purpose Marketing Development of Isoprene Products, Partnership Development & Management
Location Andheri East, Mumbai, Maharashtra
 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Marketing Development
  • Approach to new customers and applications and develop the market of Isoprene products; IPEA, MTHP, IPG(IPD) 
  • Keep on communication to discover the unmet needs.
  • Forward the inquires, lead the discussion how to progress in a global team.
  • Attend or visit conferences and exhibitions.
  • Number of new customers
  • Number of new applications
  • Growth rate
  • Budget achievement rate
Partnership development & management
  • Discover and build a trustable relationship with traders which has power in the market.
  • Cost/ time effectiveness
  • Zero dishonesty
Monthly report & annual budgeting
  • Monthly (or weekly, to be instructed) report to the line manager or HQ.
  • Forecast the market and plan reasonable revenue figure for the upcoming period.
  • Check related events and forecast the expenses.
  • Precise & punctual report

  • Budget achievement rate
Self -Development
  • Attend trainings, seminars which can boost your skills (it can be either technical knowledge or business tips, way of thinking…etc.) regardless of being or not being instructed by the line manager, HR or MD.  
 
 
REQUIRED
Knowledge/ Experience/ Mindset
  • 5+ years of experience of sales.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Initiative, proactive, a quick learning challenger.
Education/ Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical/ science or related field.
  • MS Office

  • Experience of sales in chemical industry.
