Experience: 3 to 5 years

Responsibilities:

Survey Planning: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to plan survey activities according to project requirements and timelines.

Field Work: Conduct field surveys using total stations, GPS/GNSS receivers, levels, and other surveying instruments to accurately measure and map land features, boundaries, and topography.

Data Collection: Gather and record precise measurements, angles, distances, and elevations to create detailed survey data. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.

Boundary Identification: Determine property boundaries, easements, and rights-of-way using legal documents, deeds, and existing survey records.

Mapping and Drafting: Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to process survey data and create maps, plans, and digital models.

Quality Assurance: Review and validate survey data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

Site Analysis: Analyze survey data and provide insights on site conditions, constraints, and potential risks to inform project planning and decision-making.

Documentation: Prepare comprehensive survey reports, drawings, and documentation to communicate findings, recommendations, and specifications to project teams and clients.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that survey activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and codes governing land use, zoning, and environmental protection.

Client Interaction: Communicate with clients, property owners, and regulatory agencies to address concerns, provide updates, and obtain necessary approvals for survey activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field or Diploma in Civil

  • Engineer or ITI in Survey.

  • Professional licensure or certification as a Land Surveyor (PLS or LS).

  • Proficiency in surveying techniques, equipment, and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).

  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
