Job Description: Factory Purchasing (Engineer or Senior Engineer)-Manesar location with Japanese MNC
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in an automotive parts manufacturer. Degree or Diploma in Technical.

Location: Manesar
 
1) Job Statement:

To manage factory purchasing activities and support smooth operations and production.

 2) Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report to a Supervisor (GM/Manager / Assistant Manager).

  • Create and execute purchasing plans.

  • Negotiate with and manage contracts with suppliers.

  • Manage the sourcing and delivery schedule of parts and raw materials.

  • Handle inventory management and release to the manufacturing process.

  • Work on budget management and cost reduction initiatives.

  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers.

  • Ensure quality requirements and support quality management.

  • Propose improvements and streamline the procurement process.

  • Import procedures for materials, including customs clearance, transportation, and warehouse arrangements.

  • Analyze purchasing-related data and create reports.

3) Relationships and Authority:

  • Frequent communication and collaboration with the team, supervisor, and suppliers.

  • Participate in the approval process for budgets and contracts.

  • Carry out duties in accordance with proposed company policies and established procedures.

4) Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to manage lead times and optimize the supply chain.

  • Technical knowledge and understanding of automotive parts.

  • Experience in using procurement software and systems.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Knowledge of quality management and risk management.

  • Knowledge of raw material prices and market.

  • Knowledge and experience in import procedures, including relevant laws, regulations, and tax requirements.

  • Excellent research, analysis, and problem-solving skills.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.

  • Fluency in English, including spoken and written communication.
