Job Title: HR& GA Head
Location: Gummidipoondi nearby Chennai
Gender: Male
Reporting to: Solid line Managing Director/ Production manager.
Qualification: MBA
Experience: Min 10 years
 
Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: -
  1. At least 10 of experience in General Affairs in a factory of a Japanese company. (Especially in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or food industries)
  2. Good knowledge of Indian and Chennai State laws and regulations (personnel labor management, health and safety, and the environment).
  3. Experience with ISO audits.
  4. Green field project experience.
  5. Good communication skills and proficient in Tamil & English language, both written and verbal.
  6. Experience in MS Office (Word and PowerPoint, Excel).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, attract, and acquire skilled new employees necessary to achieve business targets. Develop and implement effective onboarding plans that align with the organization's culture. Design and deliver a variety of training programs that enhance employees’ performance to improve business outcomes. 
  • In collaboration with company, implement initiatives on personnel labor management, including management of working hours, absence and leave and payroll management, to implement effective allocation and utilization of human resources aligned with business objectives.
  • Create, implement, and update the company's internal policies and regulations, including Compensation and Benefits programs and Evaluation Systems, to increase employee engagement and motivation while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation through policies consistent with current legal requirements.
  • Manage the relationship with labor unions and other labor relations commission, such as acting as the liaison between the company and them, negotiating collective bargaining agreements in the best interest of both the organization and the employees, and resolving disputes between the organization and unions efficiently and fairly to build a stable and good relationship with the labor union and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
  • ​​​​​​​Promote comprehensive and systematic countermeasures, such as taking actions for the establishment of hazard prevention standards, clarifying the safety and health management responsibility, and responding to audits related to health and safety with a view to preventing industrial accidents.
  • ​​​​​​​Manage company facilities; order and manage office supplies, uniforms, and other equipment, and select, contract, and manage orders for vehicles, electricity, water, gas, IT systems, telephones, disposal vendors, security, cleaning, etc. and operate and manage the cafeteria, and plan and manage commuting arrangements, to realize a comfortable work environment.
  • ​​​​​​​Implement relationship building by taking care of stakeholders, including planning, and conducting company events, dealing with expatriates, attending to visitors, and collaborating with neighboring companies, to carry out smooth company operations.
