Purpose of the Role:
To lead and manage assembly shop operations, ensuring achievement of production targets while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cost efficiency. The role involves effective manpower management, process control, and driving continuous improvement through Kaizen, innovation, and adoption of industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
Achieve daily production targets through optimal resource utilization
Monitor and control critical process parameters for defect-free output
Manage and develop shop floor workforce for enhanced productivity
Drive Kaizen, 5S6F, and innovation initiatives at Gemba
Implement line balancing and TVP approach for operational efficiency
Ensure compliance with QMS, ISO standards, and EHS regulations
Conduct root cause analysis and implement CAPA
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth operations
Lead cost reduction and productivity improvement projects
Foster a disciplined, motivated, and safe work culture
Knowledge Requirements:
Deep understanding of assembly operations in 2W/automotive manufacturing
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, and operational excellence tools
Knowledge of digital dashboards, production reporting, and OEE improvement
Awareness of statutory compliance related to plant safety and environment
Experience:
Minimum 8–12 years in assembly operations within the automotive/2W industry
Proven track record in team management and process improvement
