Job Description
Program machines using macros and interpret virtual tool paths to ensure accurate production.
Utilize AutoCAD for design and technical drawings.
Set up and troubleshoot sliding head machines, ensuring optimal performance.
Select appropriate tools for machining processes and validate processes for efficiency and quality.
Design processes and assess part feasibility to meet production standards.
Handle engineering change notices (ECN) and maintain effective communication with customers.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of machine programming with macros and virtual tool paths.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical design.
Basic understanding of sliding head machines and CNC jaw formation.
Ability to set machines and troubleshoot issues effectively.
Familiarity with core tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
Knowledge of process validation and part feasibility analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interact with customers professionally.
