Job Description of Post Sales Engineer – Servers: Servers (Rack Servers, Tower Servers, Blade Servers, HCI Servers), Virtualization (VM Ware &Hyper V), Software (Windows Servers, Office 365, Antivirus, Proxy, DLP, EDR &Database), Storage and Backups (NAS, SAN, Tape Library, Veritas, Veeam, EMC, Acronis and Others), and Cloud (AWS and Azure)
Purpose and scope
The post-sales Server engineer will be responsible for deploying Server solutions for potential customers, and will have knowledge of the Server infrastructure Which Comprises of Servers, Storage such as SAN and NAS, HCI Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud Computing (AWS & Azure), and enterprise server systems such as AD Server, File Server, Antivirus Server, Proxy Server, DLP System, Email System such as Office 365 & MS Exchange, and Backup System such as Veritas, Veeam, EMC ,Acronis and Others. The role requires extensive knowledge of Server topologies and technologies and demands the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
Provide trusted technical advice and assistance to customers and colleagues alike.

Job Duties:
- Server Engineer will be responsible for deployment of Server hardware (Dell/HP/Lenovo etc.) & storage solution (NAS/SAN e.g... HP MSA, HP 3PAR, IBM Storewise, QLogic etc.)
- Server Engineer must have good knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, DFS, Terminal Servers, including troubleshooting skill.
- Must have experience in deployment of various Backup solution veritas, Veeam, Arcserve, Acronis, Commvault etc.
- Engineers should be familiar with virtualization software, such as VMware and Hyper-V, scripting with PowerShell.
- Experience of migrating Email service from On-premises Exchange/Postmaster/Zimbra to Google or Microsoft 365 cloud
- Understanding of patching tools and security vulnerability scanning
- Engineer must have experience on deploying various Antivirus solutions (TrendMicro/Broadcom /Sophos/CrowdStrike etc…) & Proxy/DLP services like Websense, Zscaler etc...
- Engineer with good knowledge of AZURE & AWS and Database would be advantageous.

Education, Skills and experience required.
Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma or Bachelor's/College Degree in IT, Computer Science or Others with Technical training in the field of Computer Systems and Servers. Certifications in Servers would be a Value Add. Certification like MCSE, MCSA, AWS Solution Architect, Azure Certification, VMWARE Certifications would be a value add.
• At least 4 to 5 year(s) of working experience in the field of computer systems and Servers.
• Must Possess experience of at least 4 Years in Computer Systems and Server Solution Designing, implementation and troubleshooting
• Excellent communication in English “Verbal/Written”.
• Excellent Documentation Skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Should be proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint & Visio).
