Working on a role for Head - Finance & Accounts with a leading Japanese firm

Qualification - MBA (Preferred - Full-time)
Experience - 15 to 18 years
Job responsibilities:
Finance & Accounts: -
❖ Reporting - Preparing the reports to present to management (Profit & Loss
statement, Balance sheet, and various other reports used by the management
and the parent company in Japan for control and decision making purpose)
❖ Statutory Audit – Work closely with the Statutory auditor and ensure the
timely preparation of financials and submission of the information to the
auditor/management.
❖ Income Tax law compliances – Comply with the applicable provisions of
Income Tax and Ensure Proper Income tax law compliance of expats working
at TMHIN. Preparation of documents to be submitted for the purpose of
Income Tax assessment. Coordinate with Tax consultant for various Transfer
Pricing related matters
❖ GST, Custom and other Indirect Tax Compliance – Comply with the applicable
provisions and ensure correct and timely filing with the tax authority.
❖ Budget - Business plans preparation in coordination with the various
departments.
❖ Accounting Processes – Standardizing of accounting processes to ensure
accurate and timely reporting.
❖ Treasury – Co-ordinate with the banks & ensure various limits with the bank
for proper fund management.
Legal & Secretarial
❖ Anticipate and plan for all legal risks, and develop strategies to mitigate those
risks.
❖ Ensure efficient and effective administration of function in the legal and
secretarial department.
Ensure the following compliances are being done timely to avoid non-compliance.
1- Legal reporting to parent company.
2- Code of Conduct
3- Anti-bribery and Anti-corruption
4- POSH
5- Management of Suggestion board
6- Any new amendment / introduction in laws under Company Act
He shall be responsible to handle overall “Finance, legal & secretarial” activities for
TMHIN.
