JD:
1) Supporting the development of OHS policies and programs.
2) Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures
3) Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation
4) Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives
5) Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity
6) Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc.
7) Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
8) Knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
9) Prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management
10) Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and handle worker’s compensation claims
11) Oversee workplace repair, installations and any other work that could harm employees' safety
12) Ensure compliance to Legal, Customer and TTC requirements
13) Monitoring of Natural resource consumption, calculation and reduction of CO2 footprint
14) Develop, Test and Improve plans on Disaster response and BCM with continuous Kaizen
15) Proficient in MS Office & Good interpersonal and communication skills
