Position Overview
As the Plant Director, you will report to the Plant Head (Japanese) and be responsible for leading the India manufacturing facility. You will ensure the production of high-quality cast automotive components while maintaining a safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and oversee Production, Maintenance, Quality, Safety, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.
Ensure optimal resource allocation, budget management, and cost control to maximize efficiency.
Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement across all processes.
Uphold the highest standards in quality management systems (TS16949/IATF).
Develop and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering; MBA preferred.
15–20 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving operational success.
Expertise in die casting, lean manufacturing, and quality assurance.
