ROLE OF THE POSITION: Senior Manager Costing
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
To finalize costing / Prices of existing products across Department / keep track of changes. To maintain statutory records related to costing standards Incumbent should be able to guide profitability and the financial well-being of the Company by providing Costing services, standards and reporting. Taking lead to visualize profitability by model, part wise. To enhance price/cost optimization in relation to customer in the process of design phase.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Costing & Cost Control Systems & Procedures
-
Analysis of Annual Budget in relation to direct manufacturing cost
-
Validate manufacturing Process costing
-
Project Costing (RFQ Costing)
-
Validate stock Valuation of Raw Material.
-
Lead NPD projects in preparation of Business cases for Financials Sales, Manufacturing costs, R&D costs, CAPEX, EBITDA, and EVA.

Preparation of Profitability by model parts.

Cost reduction measurement analysis
-
Manage the transition from the existing cost environment to a new standard cost system Identify.

Development and maintenance of standard costs

Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers

Well versed with product costing, batch costing and other costing tools.

Initiating & evaluating cost reduction ideas

MIS related to direct manufacturing area

Preparation of SOPs of Cost Control

Will guide the top management in decision making by prompt analysis of data.

Contribution Statement on Customer Basis

Presentation of Customer wise, product wise profitability analysis

The work stretches across a variety of areas, including management, strategy, IT, finance, marketing, HR and supply chain management.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

Strong conceptual knowledge of financial planning and analysis and business decision support processes.

Strong verbal and written/presentation communications skills.

High adaptability and ability to work across functions / geographies with Sr. Leaders in the organization heads and Heads of various functions.

Ability to understand the business model and manufacturing operations as well as design % development process and drivers of top-line and bottom-line.

Good leadership skills to manage a team of Costing & Budgeting.
BROAD PARAMETERS FOR ASSESSING PERFORMANCE
Cost Analysis, Planning & Analysis, SAP with FI/MM/SD modules, inventory management, Business Analysis, Bank reconciliation, commercial negotiation, Fund Management, Credit limit working, debtors, collection, Budgeting, profitability, inventory analysis and MIS Reporting.
WORK RELATION: Will be reporting directly to the CFO.
MINIMUM DESIRED PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATION : Any Graduate in Any Specialization, ICWA (CMA)

EXPERIENCE : 10- 12 Years
Preference for candidate currently working in an automotive Tier-1 company.
