Job Title: Assistant Manager – Paint Quality & Process
Experience: 5-8 Years
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic testing at customer production lines to ensure paint quality and adherence to standards.
- Inspect and evaluate new paint batches before application.
- Perform panel and part-level testing, including DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion checks, and other necessary quality assessments.
- Oversee the paint baking oven parameters and ensure proper curing conditions.
- Establish and adjust line parameters for optimal paint application.
- Maintain knowledge and understanding of pre-treatment processes.
- Supervise the paint mixing process in accordance with paint mixing standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs to ensure smooth collaboration.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong technical expertise in paint application, testing, and process optimization.
- Experience in working with automotive or industrial paint systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality-related issues effectively.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities to manage responsibilities efficiently.
