Job Responsibilities:
Drafting and Design:
Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
Develop and review civil engineering plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed drawings for construction projects.
Ensure all drawings comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Collaboration:
Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and other team members to develop and refine design concepts.
Participate in project meetings to discuss design requirements, modifications, and progress.
Coordinate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Documentation:
Maintain and organize project files, including all drawings, specifications, and revisions.
Prepare and update project documentation, such as bill of quantities (BOQ), material lists, and construction schedules.
Site Visits:
Conduct site visits to gather data and measurements for project designs. Inspect completed projects to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Relevant certifications in drafting or CAD software are a plus.
Experience:
Experience as a civil draftsman in the construction industry.
Proven experience with CAD software and other drafting tools.
