Job Responsibilities:
- Drafting and Design: 
- Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit. 
- Develop and review civil engineering plans, profiles, cross-sections, and detailed drawings for construction projects. 
- Ensure all drawings comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards. 
- Collaboration: 
- Work closely with civil engineers, architects, and other team members to develop and refine design concepts. 
- Participate in project meetings to discuss design requirements, modifications, and progress. 
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs. 
- Documentation: 
- Maintain and organize project files, including all drawings, specifications, and revisions. 
- Prepare and update project documentation, such as bill of quantities (BOQ), material lists, and construction schedules. 
- Site Visits: 
- Conduct site visits to gather data and measurements for project designs. Inspect completed projects to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. 
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Relevant certifications in drafting or CAD software are a plus. 
Experience:
- Experience as a civil draftsman in the construction industry. 
- Proven experience with CAD software and other drafting tools.
