- Leadership in the development and implementation of the Company’s HR Strategy as a key enabler of the Company’s strategic plan
- Lead the team in overseeing day-to-day management of the department activities
- Lead role in the development, integration and implementation of HR policies, procedures, systems and practices in alignment with latest industry practices
- Hire staff and negotiate employment agreements
- Champion the Company’s commitment to equality and diversity
- Handle performance reviews and employee benefits
- Design and direct training programs
- Lead role in disciplinary and grievance matters
- Handle employee relations matters and sensitive personnel cases, deploying high level professional skills to achieve successful outcomes
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
- Master’s Degree in Personnel Management/Equivalent
- Relevant experience of about 20 years +, preferably in Automotive industry
- Must have handled workforce of over 1500/2000 associates in single location
- A large part of the job is dealing with people, therefore superior people and interpersonal skills
- Planning and organization skills
- Ability to act decisively and solve employees related problems
- Knowledge of labour laws and regulations
- High level of Computer literacy, good communication skills (Good hold on English language)
- Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with team, other departments and customer
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet targets and deadlines
- A results-driven, transparent & an ethical approach to work
- Ability to lead a logical, systematic manner approach
