Job Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of windows 10 computer, servers (windows server 2016 & above), and VMware virtualization.
  2. Good understanding on networking concepts (switches, routers, access points) etc.
  3. Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
  4. Excellent troubleshooting skills on Outlook 365 & MS teams.
  5. Application installation, troubleshooting & license management of Autodesk, adobe, Bentley products.
  6. Should have work experience with different IT Infrastructure components such as Windows/Linux Servers, Wintel Servers, networks, firewalls, routers, load balancers, LDAP, Oracle/MS SQL databases, SAN/NAS, Virtualization, Email systems, Enterprise monitoring and access management solutions for single sign on.
  7. Hands on experience in backup software and recovery including experience with Tape drives.
  8. Desktop and helpdesk support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruption.
    Preparing checklists for important IT tasks and monitoring them on a regular basis.
  9. Proficiency with MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Access
Nature & Scope of Work:
  1. Effectively lead and guide Incident triage calls from a technical perspective analysing different components of the infrastructure and application environments. Influence other technical teams on the calls and articulate troubleshooting steps effectively.
  2. Lead required technical follow-up calls for high profile incidents.
  3. Follow up on items that could potentially negatively impact production operations, assist with post-mortem related activities and support various efforts related to operational improvements.
  4. Based on recommendations from management, implement new and improved processes, change processes, perform new tasks, create reports and address ad-hoc requests.
  5. Ability to analyse different components of the infrastructure and application environments during Incident triage calls.
  6. Aptitude to influence other technical teams on the incident calls and articulate troubleshooting steps effectively.
  7. Experience and confidence working with all levels of management; excellent written and verbal skills.
  8. Able to quickly and concisely communicate with senior management on technical issues in non-technical terms and to run large conference calls during Incident calls with a wide range of personnel and management levels.
  9. Hands on experience with other ticketing tools is required.
  10. Experience in IT Security or Auditing field is required.
  11. Effective team player with strong communication skills.
  12. Ability to manage multiple priorities in an organized fashion with attention to details.
  13. Ability to interact with management and work across departmental lines to effectively.
  14. Occasional travel to Project Sites for short duration
Specifications:
  1. BTech/BE in ECE/CE or equivalent from reputed Institute/College
  2. 5-7 years of experience in IT infrastructure and related works
  3. Should have exposure in IT Infrastructure, Security, Incident Management, good exposure in handling Servers, Firewall, Routing, Ticketing, Networking & Protocols.
