Mission:
The company is seeking a highly commercial and technical Sales Engineer for India region covering the Automotive and Industry segment, in order to expand the business portfolio, the customer base, and boosting operational excellence.The annual revenue of India region is about 15 M$.
The Sales Engineer will report to the India Sales Manager located in Pune, India.
Sales Engineer:
- Lead the business in line with the LEM Group’s expectations and objectives by developing strategies to capitalize on the company’s market-leading position and convert this into profitable business opportunities.
- Manage and increase sales especially in electric small mobility (2 and 3-wheeler), Automotive (EV and PHEV) as well as related industry (e.g., EV charging infrastructure).
- Expand and build up customer sales network for above-mentioned application including all the value chain related. (OEM, Tiers, and Startups)
- Manage and increase sales in accordance with the Company’s values and principles.
- Support a strong cohesion within the team Worldwide.
- Lead sales performance through identifying additional market opportunities by putting customer relationships and technical expertise at the heart of all activity.
- Expand the business portfolio and customer base.
- Efficiently ensure reporting and collaboration with Rest of Asia team.
- Promote and preserve the image and business reputation for the Company.
- Guarantee Customer Satisfaction.
Your skills and experience:
- Industry knowledge: Solid understanding of electronics components (or adjacent electro-mechanical field), integrated circuit, plus their applications. Capability to learn fast. University degree in Engineering.
- Sales acumen:
- More than 5 years of experience in technical sales for Automotive and Industry customers
- Expertise and successful track record in strategic and tactical sales.
- Direct and indirect sales with responsibility for top line, and business growth.
- Proven ability to develop strategy and execute projects hands on.
- Customer knowledge in Automotive, integrated circuits, and power electronics.
- Interest to understand and promote a large variety of technical products (1’000 different part numbers, 15 different applications).
- Strong commercial drive, coupled with a customer-oriented approach and leadership.
- Financial understanding: Sales & expenses budget, margin etc.
