The ABAP Developer is responsible to work with SAP Functional Experts and develop RICEFW objects in ABAP to meet the business requirements. He/she should be well versed with Object Oriented concepts
ABAP development Framework.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Develop ABAP and Integration objects in SAP HANA S4
Perform detailed analysis of functional requirements and develop/enhance ABAP objects meeting SAP best practices.
Prepare Technical specifications for all ABAP objects.
Document technical designs, test cases and results.
Test and conduct UAT and deploy.
Build integration between Sales/Service Cloud and SAP HANA (on-premises) wherever necessary.
Should be experienced in doing impact analysis of upgrades and making required code changes
Act as liaison with users for troubleshooting: investigate, Analyse, and solve user problems.
Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues
Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
Profile Expectation:
Hands on experience in SAP HANA S4 ABAP Development. Need to have implementation experience of at least 2 long duration projects from start to end including Cloud implementation.
Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and support
Should have done ABAP development in SD, MM, FICO modules
Experience in Manufacturing Domain is a must
Should have extensive experience in migrating data from legacy systems to SAP. Should establish plan, strategy, and templates to do data migration.
Good exposure and understanding of other modules of SAP. Need to establish integration points between SD and other modules of SAP.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
