Position: Senior Executive / AM /DM – Sales

A brief about the role:
Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall business development Freight Forwarding Air and Sea.

  • Generating regular leads for various Products/division.

  • Generation of Inbound and Outbound air and sea from various origins and different destinations.

  • Meeting new and existing clients, understanding their logistics needs and then provide a complete cost-effective solution of their requirements.

  • Support sales team in business growth by regularly visiting existing and new customers and targeting their cross functional business.

  • Monthly/Quarterly reviews with customer to gain confidence/ volumes.

  • Coordination with sales support staff and customer -support departments to ensure best of the services. to the customers.

  • To ensure timely collection of payments from the customers.

  • Ensure all the billing files are timely shared with Accounts team and support in collection of overdue. o/s payments by following up with customers.

  • Act as front end to all the customer issues and ensure regular operational support for all the business handled.

  • Generate MIS as per the business need for the customer and Management.

  • Liaison with overseas office and seeking their support for important customers.

  • In addition to freight forwarding, selling all other products i.e. Export/Imports (Custom Clearance), warehousing, transport etc.

  • Operational Activity

  • An effective sales professional who is familiar with the functional knowledge of freight forwarding.  product with proven track record in Freight industry.

  • Should be logical and analytical in approach.

  • Experience in Managing Bids & RFQs for Larger Customer

  • Proven track record in commercial decision-making ability

  • Client analysis on gross Margin, volume, and Productivity

  • Excellent Presentation skills

  • Excellent Power Point Skills

  • Experience in Logistics will be preferred
