Job Overview: Looking for candidates having strong experience into instrumentation, field devices, communications from pulp & paper industry.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • To take responsibility for installation, start-up, commissioning, performance validation and acceptance of company sensors, analysers and solution projects on customer sites.

  • To provide troubleshooting, application, and on-site service support for existing installations.

  • Commitment to support & resolve customer challenges on an “end to end” basis with full ownership.

  • To manage projects as assigned by the Manager.

  • To clearly communicate plans and progress to customers and the company team, both local and global.

  • To closely work with sales team to provide leads on customer unmet process needs, competitive activities and anything important observed in field.

  • To keep proper documentation of all jobs conducted (field service report) and proactively communicate with customer and internal team.

  • To provide outstanding service to customers, supported by the global team.

  • Performance in the role will be primarily assessed against the quality of technical support and communication with customers delivered, as well as sales targets.

  • Extensive local travel and occasional international travel expected.

  • Specialised training will be provided both within Country and abroad.

  • Support from local, regional and global technical teams will be available.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering in (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation) or equivalent.

  • 5+ Years’ experience in industrial automation, instrumentation.

  • Training and exposure to Pulp & Paper process or chemical process automation and DCS operations.

  • Understanding about instrumentation, field devices, communications etc.

  • Strong computer programming skills and knowledge of computer and control networking.

  • Complex troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective interaction with Global and Regional specialist teams.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work co-operatively and constructively with team members and customers for project execution.

  • Willing to travel to customer’s sites.

  • A positive outlook and commitment to maintaining a strong team culture.

  • A commitment to successfully complete assignments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Fluency in written and spoken local language

  • Good written and spoken English
