Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional to lead our sales team in Mumbai as a Deputy Manager or Manager. This individual will focus on new client development, particularly within the chemical and steel industries, while managing a team of four employees. Our operations are currently running smoothly, and we are looking to expand our client base in Mumbai and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
New Client Development: Proactively identify and develop new clients in the chemical and steel industries.
Team Management: Oversee a team of four employees, ensuring efficient operations and fostering a collaborative environment.
Expansion Plans: Once established in Mumbai, spearhead the development of new markets in Pune and other areas.
Project Management: Manage projects received from our Gurugram office and work towards developing a strong, independent client base in Mumbai.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Experience:
Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or trading companies.
Working experience in a Japanese company.
Sales experience in the chemical and steel industries is a plus.
