- Understanding formulation ingredients, application techniques and substrates for Offset ink.
- Understanding of how formulations and application methods for offset ink are different from other printing processes.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory equipment applicable to Offset inks
- Understand the safety considerations and labeling procedures of chemicals in the laboratories.
- Knowledge of which products are unique and not easily replaced in competitor formulations, leading to a more secure position.
- Basic knowledge of physical and health hazards associated with offset ink chemistries.
- Knowledge of computer programs necessary for generating reports and presentations (e.g. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to design experiments, analyze the data, and interpret the results.
- Good understanding of formulation ingredients, application techniques of offset ink (Conventional) and Opv.
- Able to perform testing and modify ink/Opv as per the requisition from market or customer feedback.
- Technical troubleshooting of customer/sales queries.
