Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer specializing in wire harness solutions to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical and wiring systems, coupled with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The Sales Engineer will play a crucial role in understanding customer needs, promoting our wire harness products, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Expertise:
    • Develop a deep understanding of the wire harness products and solutions offered by the company.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and competitor products to provide informed insights to customers.
  2. Customer Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Act as a technical advisor to customers, understanding their unique requirements and providing tailored solutions.
    • Collaborate with customers to identify opportunities for new business and address any technical concerns.
  3. Sales Development:
    • presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our wire harness solutions.
  4. Quotation and Proposal:
    • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to prepare accurate and competitive quotations.
    • Assist in the creation of detailed proposals, ensuring they align with customer needs and specifications.
  5. Market Analysis:
    • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and customer demands.
    • Provide regular reports on market conditions, competitor activities, and potential business opportunities.
  6. Technical Support:
    • Serve as a liaison between customers and internal technical teams, providing support during the pre and post-sales process.
    • Resolve technical issues and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  7. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
    • Generate regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in technical sales, with a focus on wire harness solutions.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and wiring components.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
