Roles and responsibilities: -
- Oversee and execute export packing of finished goods as per approved packing instructions, drawings, and export standards. Optimize material usage, packing space, and logistics cost without compromising quality.
- Ensure correct selection and usage of packing materials such as wooden pallets, crates, cartons, straps, and protective films. Implement packing Kaizens for cost reduction, space saving, and sustainability.
- Verify product quantity, part numbers, labels, and export documentation before packing and dispatch. Monitor and improve supplier packaging quality and compliance.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Logistics teams to meet dispatch and shipment timelines. Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF standards and Yamaha packing guidelines.
- Monitor packing quality to prevent transit damage and customer complaints.
- Maintain packing records, checklists, and support internal/external audits.
