Job Overview:
Looking for a suitable candidate who has strong expertise in client coordination, procurement, and project support.
Job Responsibilities:
Meeting & Reporting:
Prepare and present weekly meeting points for Machinery department.
Compile and circulate Monthly Business Reports and Business Trip Reports to the team.
- Client & Internal Coordination:
Act as a liaison between global and Indian clients from automotive and pharma industry.
Handle daily coordination for ARIBA-related queries and clarifications from global team.
Participate in technical and commercial discussions with Indian clients and global team for machinery and scheduling.
- Quotation & Procurement:
Initiate and manage quotations from local suppliers and through ARIBA.
Responsible for timely submission of RFQs and RFIs in ARIBA.
Arrange procurement of spare parts from domestic distributors.
- Vendor & Supplier Development:
Local Suppliers/ Manufacturer/ Installation Contractor Development and association with company.
Identify and evaluate local manufacturers and suppliers for medical equipment.
Source construction and utility contractors for local project execution.
Coordinate scheduling and manufacturing of IBR parts for medical equipment.
- Project Execution Support:
Support site execution teams from outside India with safety training, tool coordination, site entry, and work execution and progress tracking.
Assist in local installation works of machinery.
- Client Engagement & Business Development:
Conduct inspections and prepare FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) reports for local equipment.
Arrange factory visits for OEMs and global counterpart teams to support localization efforts.
Job Requirements:
Must be a graduate with at least 8+ years of experience into procurement from automotive or pharma industry.
- Must have strong experience into ongoing projects and execution of the same at the client side’s and assisting in development of new projects.
- Must strong experience into quotation, negotiation, vendor development apart from liasioning with internal teams.
