Job Description & Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong research skills (ex. Market potential, national policies and regulations) and strategy development skills to assist our clients in creating a strategic plan.
The candidate will work closely with Strategy Consulting teams in Japan, Singapore and Southern Asian offices (ex. Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam etc) mainly based on a remote basis to build and work on reports that have direct impacts on business priorities and strategies.
Candidates with experience in market research based on published information or databases, , strategy development, data analysis, reporting by presentation either in English or Japanese, or experience in specific industries will be preferred.
Identify business strategies by consolidating information sources, conducting detailed analysis, and translating into actionable insights
Synthesize research findings and present to key project stakeholders Support various management consulting projects by taking charge of distinct workstreams of the project, which may involve market research, strategy development, and M&A
Qualifications Required:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities with hypothesis-driven research skills
Self-motivated & independent
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Preferred:
Consulting background I Market Research experience preferred
Business level Japanese language proficiency (N2 and above) is highly advantageous
Other language capability (business level) is an advantage
