Job Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and serve as a trainer across relevant domains.
Develop KRAs, KPIs, and set objectives aligned with organizational requirements.
Prepare and manage budgets based on operational needs.
Initiate, manage, and train internal auditors for ISO standards:
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System)
ISO 50001 (Energy Management System)
Possess working knowledge of ESG, Carbon Neutrality (CN), and GHG Scope 1, 2, and 3.
Responsible for implementation, data capture, monitoring, review, and reporting to top management.
Oversee heating/melting furnace operations, preventive maintenance, and inventory management.
Ensure robust fire and explosion prevention, detection, and protection systems.
Implement, train, evaluate, and manage Safety DOJO and other HSE-related training programs.
Maintain strong documentation practices including standards, procedures, rules, flow processes, check sheets, and open-point lessons.
Handle incident/accident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis (RCA), and CAPD report preparation and review.
Conduct and review daily, weekly, and monthly meetings as required.
Organize and review committee meetings based on operational needs.
Prepare audit planners and conduct HIRA, JSA, and Safety Assessments periodically.
Implement and manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste management systems.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements through regular checks, monitoring, and reviews.
Liaise with government bodies such as PESO, TNPCB, Fire Department, TNEB, and others as needed.
Implement YOKOTEN and KY management systems.
Manage vendor and contractor operations.
Administer and oversee the Safe Work Permit system.
