A company in the chemical and polymer manufacturing sector is hiring for a Lab Chemist position at its Gurgaon location.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare compounds based on MS polymer using mixers and evaluate properties in the lab while ensuring safe operations
Report experimental results to the manager and maintain accurate documentation
Develop formulation recipes based on customer requirements
Purchase laboratory consumables and raw materials as needed
Demonstrate and instruct MS compounding and evaluation processes to customers
Ensure proper disposal of waste generated from lab activities
Maintain and calibrate lab machines, including part changes and coordination with suppliers for regular maintenance
Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science or Chemistry
0–1 year of experience (freshers welcome)
Preferable experience with polymer sealants, adhesives, and coatings (including waterproofing)
Valid driver’s license required
Strong understanding of laboratory safety and equipment maintenance
Ability to communicate effectively and follow technical instructions
