Should have experience of handling team of 5 to 10 members with strong leadership communication and analytical skills
Skills / Knowledge required (key points for search)
- Should have knowledge of entire Logistics operations including Transporation, warehousing, inventory management and distribution, export & import.
- Knowledge of International trade (Trade restriction & Trade benefits), DGFT Regulation, DG/PESO, BIS, Fssai, SVB, SCOMET, EAR/ EAR99.
- Knowledge of domestic stock activities.
- Workable knowledge of commerce related taxation in India.
- Strong practical knowledge on Regulation & Compliances related to Logistics.
- Preferably person worked in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/SAP.
Responsibilities: -
- Developing & implementing logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
- Managing Transportaion arrangement for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standard.
- Supervising warehouse operation including inventory control, storage and order fulfillment, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement and implementation process enhancement.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirement related to the transportation and handling of hazardous materials.
- Coordinate & collaborate with Business units for logistics activities and support business objectives.
- leading and motivating a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance, training and support to ensure high performance and achievement of department goals.
