Roles & Responsibilities
Sourcing suppliers and maintaining long-lasting relationships with them as well as existing suppliers.
Obtaining quotes from different suppliers.
Negotiating price, quantity, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
Sourcing a wide variety of products including Foodservice, Grocery, Safety, Cleaning, Health care and other as required. Quick learner for variant products.
Understand regulations and quality compliance standards of products to different countries.
Assessing suppliers to ensure they meet company's code of ethics compliance.
Generating quote comparisons and contributing to internal supplier selection based on the quotes.
Travelling to new suppliers; Coordinating travel with operating companies by providing travel support like interpretation, travel organization and smooth transport arrangement, etc.
Follow up company templates handling general office duties efficiently.
Other duties and assistance as company required.
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in sourcing processes.
Diploma or Bachelor’sdegree in Int’l logistics, supply chain or related field.
Proficiency in Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel, outlook, teams, etc.
A thorough understanding of sourcing methodologies.
Strong negotiation skills.
Sound time-management and organizational skills.
Ability to speak and write English is a must.
